Manjot Singh, born in 1996 in Guru Nanak Nagar, Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, emerged as a prominent figure in the Hindi film industry with his debut in the 2023 action-thriller film “Animal.” However, his journey to stardom goes beyond the silver screen, as he proved to be a real-life hero with an extraordinary act of bravery in 2019. Moving to Greater Noida for Higher Education: In pursuit of his dreams, Manjot moved to Greater Noida to pursue a BTech degree in Electronics and Communications from Sharda University. During his college days, he actively participated in a Bhangra group and represented his college in various football tournaments, showcasing his diverse talents.

The Real-Life Hero:

Did you know that Manjot Singh is not only a hero on screen, but also in real life? In 2019, when he was pursuing his BTech in Electronics and Communications at Sharda University, Greater Noida, he saved a girl from committing suicide. A video of the event was recorded and became widely popular on social media.

In the video, a girl can be seen sitting on the edge of a building, attempting to jump off. The crowd below is watching helplessly, while Manjot runs towards the girl and tries to convince her to come down. However, the girl refuses and tries to jump. Manjot then grabs her hand and pulls her back to safety. He then hugs her and consoles her, while the crowd cheers and applauds.

Manjot Singh later revealed that he did not know the girl personally, but he felt a sense of responsibility to save her. He said that he was sitting in the college canteen when he noticed the girl on the building. He said that he ran as fast as he could and reached the spot in time. He said that he was scared, but he did not think twice before risking his own life.

For his courageous act, Manjot received various awards and honours from the college authorities, the police, and the media. He also became the inspiration for a Punjabi film titled Manjot Singh- A Real Life Hero, which was based on the same incident. The film was released in 2019 and received positive reviews from the critics and the audience.

Debut in Bollywood:

Manjot Singh made his debut in the Hindi film industry with “Animal” in 2023, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He portrayed the role of Ranvijay Singh’s cousin brother, earning praise for his performance and becoming a recognizable face among the youth.

Beyond the Screen:

Apart from his film career, Manjot Singh is multilingual, well-versed in Punjabi, Hindi, English, and Sanskrit. He has also ventured into Punjabi cinema with films like “Nau Mere Dus Tere” (2019) and “Mera Vyah Kara Do” (2022). Personal Life:
