Introduction of Hanley House

On Saturday, January 13, 2024, Hanley House of North Carolina was crowned Miss America’s Teen 2024 at the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando, Florida. The 16-year-old Cleveland High School student beat out 50 other contestants from across the country to win the prestigious title and a $60,000 scholarship.

Hanley is not only a beauty queen, but also a talented dancer, a budding entrepreneur, and a passionate advocate for young entrepreneurs. In this blog post, we will take a closer look at her journey to the crown and what makes her stand out from the crowd.

A Dancer with a Dream

Hanley started dancing at the age of three and has never stopped since. She has trained in various styles of dance, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical. She has also participated in national competitions and studied at prestigious ballet programs in San Francisco and New York City.

For the Miss America’s Teen 2024 competition, Hanley chose to showcase her lyrical dance skills in the talent segment. She performed a stunning routine to the song “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey, which she said was inspired by her own personal story.

“I chose this song because it represents my journey to Miss America’s Teen. I have always dreamed of being on this stage and I never gave up on my goal. I wanted to show the judges and the audience that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and work hard,” she said in an interview.

Hanley’s dance performance earned her rave reviews from the judges and the audience, as well as one of the preliminary talent awards.

An Entrepreneur with a Mission

Hanley is not only a dancer, but also an entrepreneur. She started her own vinyl design business at the age of 12, creating custom-made products such as shirts, tumblers, and stickers. She has also donated some of her profits to the American Heart Association, a cause close to her heart.

Hanley’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to create her community service initiative, “Passion to Profit”, which aims to empower young entrepreneurs and help them turn their passions into profitable ventures. Through her program, she mentors and teaches other teens how to start and grow their own businesses, as well as develop skills such as leadership, creativity, and financial literacy.

“I believe that entrepreneurship is the key to success in the 21st century. It allows you to pursue your passions, make a positive impact, and achieve your goals. I want to inspire and empower other young people to follow their dreams and become their own bosses,” she said on her website.

Hanley’s platform earned her the respect and admiration of the judges and the audience, as well as one of the preliminary evening gown awards.

A Role Model with a Vision

Hanley is not only a dancer and an entrepreneur, but also a role model. She embodies the Miss America brand mission of “Empowering Women to Lead” in every area of life, from philanthropy, business, arts, politics, education, and more.

As Miss America’s Teen 2024, Hanley hopes to use her title and voice to promote her platform and inspire other young women to pursue their passions and achieve their potential. She also plans to further her education by studying architecture and design, and joining the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s dance team.

“I am so honored and grateful to be Miss America’s Teen 2024. This is a dream come true for me and I can’t wait to start my year of service. I hope to be a positive and influential role model for other young women and show them that they can do anything they set their minds to,” she said after her crowning moment.

Hanley’s vision earned her the crown and the hearts of millions of fans, who are looking forward to following her journey as Miss America’s Teen 2024.
